Beside cycling teams, Ridley bikes sponsors some events, top sports people and top teams, every year. When we determine our sponsoring activities, we look for partners with a similar view on presentation and technology. Therefore Ridley often sponsors motor sport activities. Here at Ridley, we can look back at partnerships with some of the best auto sport teams in Europe:

Since 2000 Ridley has a partnership with GLPK Racing. This auto sport team received the 2002 Golden Helmet, as best Belgian team. In 2000, 2002 and 2003 GLPK Racing won the Belgian championship. With Ridley as one of the main partners, GLPK Racing also won the 2000, 2002 and 2003 edition of the reputed Zolder 24 Hours.
In 2001 Ridley sponsored Paul Belmondo Racing. This team under the direction of ex F1 driver Paul Belmondo, also known as son of the famous French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo, was one of the key players in the 2001 FIA GT World championship.

Since 2003, Ridley Bikes is also partnering Force One Racing. Force One is participating in the FIA GT World championship, with drivers such as ex F1 rider Philippe Alliot and the famous singer/song writer David Halliday (son of Johny Halliday).

In 2003 we also started a partnership with Carsport Modena. Carsport Modena is the first company in the world that is developing a Grand Touring with a carbon chassis, that is used for racing. Herewith, on a technical level they precede, big constructors like Porsche an Maserati, who have announced that they will start a similar program in 2004. With this partnership Ridley Bikes tries to optimise the technical evolution of their carbon frames. Therefore we established a collaboration between the engineers from Carsport Modena, who are in charge of the construction of this carbon race car, and our engineers.

Since 2005 Ridley is sponsoring one of the top level GT teams in the world PK Carsport. This team is running the first official Corvettes in the FIA GT world championship, with support from Corvette Europe. In 2005 and 2006 the team has won several races in the world championship while it won the Belgian GT championship. For 2007 the team aims to win the world championship.
