Meeusen wins UCI World Cup in Kalmthout

Tim Meeusen has won his first UCI WC leg in Kalmthout.  An early break away from Francis Mourey was countered by Niels Albert.  6 riders, Mourey, Nijs, Pauwels, Albert, Aernouts en Meeusen dominated the race in Kalmthout.  There were no more break aways on the technical course in Kalmthout.  It was Nijs and 22-year-old Meeusen who sprinted for victory.  Meeusen had the right gear and beat Sven Nijs to pick-up his first ever win in a UCI world cup. Fellow team rider Pauwels finished in 3rd place.
