Johnny Hoogerland took the mountain jersey yesterday in the 7th stage to Lisieux. He was on the breakaway with fellow Vacansoleil-DCM rider Lieuwe Westra and they made sure Hoogerland took enough points to take the lead in the mountain ranking.
