The team had a "kick Off" camp fore two days before the riders goes to the first training camp for the season on th 16 to 30 of January on the Canaria Island ,Gran Canaria.
The team had a good pree camp where the season where presented for the riders and staff. The riders are now on Gran Canaria where put over 60 hours of training on the Ridley Bikes. It is a very important camp due to the cold winter across Europe, and especially in Norway. The riders are looking forward to 25 degrees and nice sunshine! Cross country ski and MTB are replaced by Ridley road bikes and nice summer cycling clothes !!
SparebankenVest-Ridley has a team of 8 riders for 2010 season. We want to give the riders the best oportunity to develop and experince cycling on the highest level. The team has a nice dynamic between young and older riders. The intention and filosofi of the team is to develo the riders to taket he next step into a Pro Continental or Pro Tour Team. We have made a very good racing program to make this happen. During the races we have a mix of kat.1.2 and 2.1 races to sometimes gve the riders the chanse to show them self.
We hope to achive some good results in 2010 and are very happy to have you all as equipments provider for SparebankenVest - Ridley in 2010.
