Jürgen Roelandts secures Circuit Franco Belge victory

After his victory in the first stage of the Eurométropole Tour/Circuit Franco-Belge, Roelandts was able to secure his lead in the final stage, and win the GC. The Lotto-Belisol Team also did a great job for Roelandts.
No rider could stay ahead of the peloton, but the hilly circuit took its toll. A very small bunch sprinted for the win, with Bouhanni finishing first. Jürgen Roelandts finished third.
Roelandts’ next goal is Paris-Tours, a race that he won as a U23 rider. It’s a race that really suits him. He also proved he can do well after 250 kilometers at the World Championships in Valkenburg where he helped Gilbert to take the title. The Lotto-Belisol team will be ready and motivated to help Roelandts achieve this goal.
