For Shimano fans looking for a little extra

In the first months of this year the Ridley Fenix has proven itself in classics like the Tour of Flanders where Jürgen Roelandts (Lotto-Belisol) rode it to a third place. The frameset also got excellent reviews from magazines and websites. More than enough reasons to make the Fenix the first bike in our range and one of the first bikes in the world to come with the brand new Shimano Ultegra 11 speed. The bike is now available at Ridley dealers in Europe.

Ever since Shimano announced the 11speed groupset, a lot of Shimano fans have been on the lookout for bikes with the new Ultegra 11speed. Ridley is probably the first brand in the world to offer the groupset on a bike in their 2014 range. The mat black design of the 2014 Fenix with Ultegra 11speed is an adaptation of the shiny white design used by Lotto-Belisol during the spring classics.

Characteristic of the Fenix is its oversized sharp edge tubing which guarantees a high level of stiffness and is extremely strong and durable. The flat sections in the seat stays absorb road vibrations to give the rider a high amount of comfort and increased stability on rough roads. Ridley combines the Ultegra 11speed groupset with an exclusive Rotor 3DF crank that combines high stiffness with a low weight (about 185 grams lighter than the original Ultegra crank).
