Namibia, not your everyday cycling destination. But exactly the place where Victor Campenaerts spent his time preparing for his World Hour Record (timed by Tissot) attempt on April 16 or 17. Not just for the exotics, the European ITT champ had some very specific reasons to choose that spot for his training camp. “Definitely not […]
Designing the fastest road bike with the best fit ever. That was the goal of the prestigious project named ‘Noah Fast’. With this in mind, our R&D engineers set out to give it their absolute best effort to investigate the borders of aerodynamics. This would require our engineers to create something new. Something better. Something […]
Pro cyclists travel the world for cycling. They train, they race and they’re always on their bike. But never without a strictly predefined schedule in mind. Working towards goals and preparing for the next big race they meticulously plan their daily habits in function of their training scheme. But make no mistake, sometimes they would […]
The Tour of Flanders, or better, ‘Flanders’ finest’. One of the five Monuments in modern day cycling. But definitely our number 1, our highlight of the year. The day Belgium is standing still and all inhabitants join the celebration of the most fabulous of all Flemish festivals. The Tour of Flanders has become a metaphor […]
New season coming up! The Australian Nats are already finished and the Classics are getting closer (yes, we count the days until the first Belgian Classic). Our Lotto Soudal team is ready to race. Some are already Down Under, some are going to Argentina and others are training again in Mallorca.
Snow has added a new dimension to the already epic cyclocross races at this time of the year. The riders attacked the track in Overijse under the first white carpet of this winter season. No better place to see what fall has to offer. Especially when heavy rain showers cover the horizon the whole weekend long. Our riders were almost unrecognizable […]
At the European championships 2017 in Tabor, Czech Republic, Ridley has won the U23 race with Eli Iserbyt. The promising young Belgian won by sprinting former Ridley athlete Tom Pidcock to the second place. At Ridley we heavily wanted to celebrate this victory and honor Eli with a special design on his X-Night SL. From now […]
Since 2002 Ridley had 15 World Champions riding their bikes. We’ve had a lot of the greatest CX’ers on our bikes, from Mario De Clercq to Niels Albert, from Bart Wellens to even Wout Van Aert (as a U23). Ridley has been a part of many CX’ers their greatest victories.
The Schaal Sels has a long running tradition in Belgium, but big changes happened when they decided to go off road and still call it a road race. Our WB Veranclassic team raced for victory. We’ve seen an awesome race and #BeTOUGH photos.
