Triton Fast vs. Dean Fast: find out which bike suits you best!

  • News

You know the feeling: your heart is pounding, your legs are burning, and every second counts. Riding fast is one thing, but a triathlon or time trial requires something extra, with precision, focus, and above all, the right equipment. In our range, you will find two models that perfectly meet these demands: the Triton Fast and the Dean Fast. Two bikes, one mission: to make you faster. But what really sets them apart?

Triton Fast: the ultimate triathlon bike for every challenge

Have your dedicated training friends convinced you to take on the toughest sporting challenge there is and sign up for an Ironman in 2026? Or do you want to give it your all for a year to see how far your physical limits go in triathlon? Then you are undoubtedly looking for the right bike. Whether you have chosen a course full of long straight stretches or a more technical route, the Triton Fast is the answer. Thanks to the innovative flip chips in the fork, you can adjust the handling of the bike to any type of course.

The Triton Fast also has specific features that make the difference. Thanks to its progressive geometry, you as an athlete sit closer to the bottom bracket, allowing you to maintain your target power longer and more consistently. The more open hip angle gives you better oxygen flow to your legs, which improves endurance and efficiency. These are small details that can save you valuable seconds or even minutes by the end of the race. The longer reach and higher head tube add extra comfort and stability, allowing you to stay in your aero position longer without losing control or power. After all, there is still a run to follow, and you don’t want to be completely exhausted by then. Jelle Geens has already proven that it is all possible with the Triton Fast.

Dean Fast: pure speed within the rules

Are you missing those last few percentages to make the difference in your time trial? Then the Dean Fast is your ultimate weapon. One goal guided its design: to make you faster than ever with the most advanced time trial bike available.

Every tube, every detail, and every component has been optimized to reduce drag to an absolute minimum, specifically at speeds around 55 km/h. The result is a bike that makes no compromises and is built purely for speed.

An important difference with the Triton Fast is that the Dean Fast complies with strict UCI regulations for those who want to race competitively. Think of the 8:1 rule for tube ratios and the required use of compensation triangles. These rules ensure that every rider competes on a level playing field without unfair aerodynamic advantages.

The Dean Fast uses every detail within UCI limits to remain as aerodynamic as possible. Comfort is not the focus here; this bike is made to make you perform, not to relax. Alec Segaert has already proven this several times, including an impressive second place at the 2022 U23 World Time Trial Championships on this pure speed machine.

What is the real difference, and which one suits you best?

In short, if you are going for long triathlons where every watt counts and comfort and aerodynamics must be perfectly balanced, the Triton Fast is your ideal partner. This bike gives you the freedom to fully tailor your position to your riding style, sit further forward, adjust your cockpit to your preference, and integrate food and hydration smartly, all without compromising on aerodynamics. The Triton Fast is built to stay efficient and comfortable, even over the longest distances.

If you are chasing pure explosive speed for shorter efforts, the Dean Fast is the bike for you. Developed according to UCI regulations, it is built to fly against the clock. You get ultimate stiffness and aerodynamics, with slightly less comfort over longer distances, the price you pay for absolute speed.

Triton Fast

Tailored to every triathlete

Whether you’re speeding down long, straight roads or tackling sharp, winding courses, the Triton Fast is your perfect partner to achieve your best results in any triathlon. With the flip chips in the fork, you can fine-tune the bike’s handling to any course. From flat, fast stretches to technical, twisty routes, the Triton Fast can handle it all. Leveraging the advanced aero technology of the Noah Fast 3.0, we’ve made the Triton Fast the fastest bike in the peloton.

The Dean Fast is the fastest bike in our entire range. This time trial bike is a no-compromise model, developed in the Bike Valley wind tunnel, adjacent to our factory. The Dean Fast pushes the limits of UCI regulations and features an F-Surface Plus on the frame, allowing you to slice through the wind. A removable front derailleur hanger means that riders who choose a 1x setup get the most streamlined look possible when using the custom cover that replaces the hanger.
