KMC Ridley MTB Racing Team
KMC Ridley MTB Racing Team
The KMC MTB Racing Team was founded at the end of 2008 by former Olympic champion Bart Brentjens. Since 2023, a new breeze has blown through the Dutchman's project. Ridley joined the ambitious story and now supplies bikes to international stars like Yana Belomoina and Martins Blums. This summer, the bike manufacturer will be present as the whole world watches the Olympic mountain bike competition on Élancourt Hill. Starting from 2024, Ridley is also the title sponsor of the team.
The mountain bikers use the Ridley Raft RS and the Ridley Probe RS. The Raft RS ensures pure speed during racing, focusing on full suspension. With 120 millimeters of travel both at the front and rear, this is the perfect bike for down country and trail. On the other hand, the Probe RS has a super lightweight frame and represents pure racing pleasure. Thanks to its progressive geometry, this bike is the first choice on steep terrain.
2024: The Key Year for KMC Ridley MTB Racing Team
2024 marks a pivotal year for the KMC Ridley MTB Racing Team for several reasons. There are the UCI World Series taking us to three different continents, and there's the World Championship in Andorra. With the Olympics in Paris, the big goal of three years is also marked in red on the agenda. The Olympic motto, of course, states that participating is more important than winning, but in sports, nothing is impossible. Nonetheless, the riders will give their all to be there at Elancourt Hill and to extract the maximum from this challenge.
