Past collaborations

The Lotto Team

The Lotto Team

For more than a decade, Ridley was the proud sponsor of Lotto Dstny. A Belgian bike manufacturer with a leading Belgian cycling team: it was a dream match. Together, we achieved great successes and ensured that the eyes of the entire cycling world were on us.
Palmans-Collstrop

Palmans-Collstrop

"In September 2002, Ridley began sponsoring Palmans-Collstrop. Mario De Clercq became the very first cyclocross world champion on a Ridley through this collaboration. Later, Niels Albert would also ride the renowned X-Night within this team.
Fidea

Fidea

Between 2004 and 2016, Ridley sponsored Team Fidea. Titles were collected at the cyclocross team like seashells. Bart Wellens, Erwin Vervecken, and Zdenek Stybar all became world champions in the pros riding a Ridley X-Night. What set Wellens apart was that he personally built his own bikes. In the youth teams of the squad, riders such as Niels Albert, Wout van Aert, and Tom Pidcock also rode on Ridley bikes. It underscores Ridley's immense involvement in the world of cyclocross.
Team Katusha

Team Katusha

"In 2009 and 2010, Ridley was the bike sponsor for Team Katusha, following the same path as the career of Australian sprinter Robbie McEwen. In the classic spring of 2009, Filippo Pozzato secured impressive victories in the E3 Prijs Vlaanderen, and Sergei Ivanov triumphed in the Amstel Gold Race. A year later, Joaquin Rodriguez stood out with remarkable performances, ultimately finishing the season as the world's number 1. Many successes during that period were achieved on a Noah ISP.
Vacansoleil-DCM

Vacansoleil-DCM

In 2011, Ridley served as the bike supplier for the Dutch Vacansoleil-DCM team for a year. Riders such as Stijn Devolder, Thomas De Gendt, and Wout Poels showcased their skills on Ridley bikes during that time. The most memorable moment of the season was arguably the accident involving Johnny Hoogerland, who ended up in barbed wire due to an unfortunate overtaking maneuver by a vehicle. Despite being covered in blood, he persevered and tearfully accepted the polka dot jersey. The day after, Ridley presented him with a beautiful polka dot-themed bike.
Classified Cycling

Classified Cycling

Ridley and Classified Cycling have been a well-oiled tandem for some time now. In 2020, we introduced the Classified Powershift on our bikes. In 2023, we jointly launched the first professional gravel team, which took further shape in 2024. The highlight followed in the mythical Unbound, where Piotr Havik achieved a fourth-place finish.
WM3 Energie

WM3 Energie

With Marianne Vos, the most successful female cyclist of all time, rode two seasons on a Ridley. She did so as a rider with WM3 Energie in 2017 and with the successor WaowDeals Pro Cycling in 2018. During that period, she won, among other victories, two consecutive editions of the Ladies Tour of Norway. Polish cyclist Katarzyna Niewiadoma also rode for the team during that time. Vos rode the La Ridley Jane SL, a bike custom-made entirely to her specifications.
Other teams

Other teams

In addition to supporting several major teams over the past years, Ridley has also supported a number of 'smaller' teams. The French St Michel - Auber93, the Belgian development team Bingoal - Wallonie Bruxelles, Aqua Blue Sport, and Team Sauerland are just a few examples. Ridley also collaborated with the Rwandan Cycling Federation. The national team, for instance, participated in the Tour du Rwanda riding Ridley bicycles. In this way, we also contribute to the rise of the cycling culture in the host country of the 2025 UCI Road World Championships.
De Rode Lantaarn

De Rode Lantaarn

In 2023, Ridley was the 'bike of the show' in De Rode Lantaarn. The Dutch podcast from Dag en Nacht Media is known for its humorous take on cycling. The 'benchwarmers,' as they call themselves, spent an entire year getting acquainted with Ridley bikes. The loyal listeners discovered how a gravel bike of Florian Vermeersch was linked to the people behind the podcast.
Zdenek Stybar

Zdenek Stybar

The Czech Zdenek Stybar became world champion twice on a Ridley bike and bid farewell to professional cycling in style at the 2024 Cyclocross World Championships in his home country. Ridley was the bike supplier and sponsor of Zdenek Stybar's one-man team.
Joaquin ‘Purito’ Rodriguez Oliver

Joaquin ‘Purito’ Rodriguez Oliver

Joaquim Rodríguez finished both the 2010 cycling season and the 2012 and 2013 seasons as the leader of the UCI ranking. The Catalan won the Giro di Lombardia twice and La Flèche Wallonne once, claimed stage victories in each of the Grand Tours, and also stood on the podium in all three races. In his first professional year, during a training camp, he made a smoking gesture while overtaking, suggesting that the pace was no problem. This earned him the nickname ‘Purito’ (little cigar). After his career, Purito served as a Ridley ambassador for several years. He already knew the bike brand from his time with Team Katusha. The former world number one still cycles extensively and switches effortlessly between road, gravel, and mountain biking. As a rider, he stood for reliability and success, which made him an ideal face for Ridley.
FatPigeon

FatPigeon

Fatpigeon is a collective of storytellers on bicycles. Founder Nol van Loon reached an audience he didn’t even know existed with the images of his adventures. This inspired him and his team to pursue ever-greater challenges. For Fatpigeon, no gravel challenge is too big: from bikepacking across five Italian islands to an exploration through the mountains of Uganda. Ridley was proud to support these ‘pigeons’ in their flight towards ultimate freedom.
Unicorn Cycling

Unicorn Cycling

Austrian Nora Turner started her blog Unicorn Cycling in 2018. The passionate enthusiast from the Vienna region experiences cycling in her own way. She wrote blog posts about cycling during pregnancy and ‘mansplaining’ in the peloton. Together with her audience, Turner discovered a world she hadn’t known before. Every ride counts for Ridley, so in 2023 and 2024, she was able to count on the support of the Belgian bike brand.
Kenneth Vandendriessche

Kenneth Vandendriessche

Triathlete Kenneth Vandendriessche won the Ironman 70.3 Luxembourg during his first period on a Ridley and has also claimed three European duathlon titles. In 2024, a new collaboration began, which Kenneth marked with his second victory at the Ironman Lanzarote, achieved on the Dean Fast. The win immediately earned him a ticket to the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii. In 2025, Kenneth concluded his professional career and joined us as an advisor for the triathlon discipline.
Bavo Mortier

Bavo Mortier

Bavo Mortier is a digital creative at Sporza, working as a graphic designer for the website and social media channels. As a flying reporter, he attends major sporting events and in between produces entertaining videos about both popular and lesser-known sports. Ridley supported his cycling challenges up until 2024 with the right equipment.
Mathias Vergels

Mathias Vergels

Actor and singer Mathias Vergels announced his intention to participate in the Ironman 70.3 in Kraichgau, Germany, in 2024. He reached out to us, and we provided him with a striking yellow bike. In the end, he successfully completed the Ironman in just over six hours.
