Crash Replacement?

Accidents can happen. If your Ridley frame is damaged in a crash and can no longer be used safely or repaired, our Crash Replacement service helps you get back on the road with a new Ridley frame.

This service is available for up to 5 years from the original purchase date.

Clear discount structure

With Ridley Crash Replacement, you receive a clear discount when purchasing a new Ridley frame.

The discount is always calculated on the original value of your damaged frame.
It is not calculated on the price of the new frame.

You receive:

  • 30% of the original value of your damaged frame when you replace it with a frame from the same frame series.
  • 50% of the original value of your damaged frame when you upgrade to a frame from a higher frame series.

It is not possible to replace your damaged frame with a frame from a lower frame series through the Crash Replacement service.

The discount amount will be deducted from the purchase price of your new Ridley frame.

Upgrade after a crash

Crash Replacement also gives you the opportunity to upgrade.

If your damaged frame belongs to the Hydro, Essential or Elite series, the new frame must be from the same frame series or a higher frame series.

A replacement within the same series gives you 30% support.
An upgrade to a higher series gives you 50% support.

A replacement to a lower frame series is not possible.

Examples

If your damaged frame is an Essential frame and you buy a new Essential frame, you receive a discount equal to 30% of the original value of your damaged frame.

If your damaged frame is an Essential frame and you buy a new Elite frame, you receive a discount equal to 50% of the original value of your damaged frame.

You cannot use Crash Replacement to replace an Essential frame with a Hydro frame.

In all cases, the discount is based on the value of the damaged frame, not on the value of the new frame.

Conditions

To use the Crash Replacement service, you must bring your damaged frame to an official Ridley dealer.

The dealer will return the frame to Ridley. Ridley customer service will inspect the frame and confirm whether the frame qualifies for Crash Replacement.

If the Crash Replacement request is approved:

  • the damaged frame will remain with Ridley and will not be returned;
  • the discount can be used for the purchase of a new Ridley frame;
  • the service can only be used once.
