Ridley presents custom design for European champion Michael Vanthourenhout
News
On Sunday, November 5, Michael Vanthourenhout crowned himself European champion again, just like last year, in the French town of Pontchâteau. As the bike supplier of his team Pauwels-Sauzen, Ridley provided a custom frame that matches the champion's jersey of the cyclist.
The victory of Vanthourenhout means that he will be able to be admired for another year in the special jersey with three blue stripes and the stars of the European flag. The picture is of course complete with a matching bike in the right colors and with the right accents. Ridley and Vanthourenhout have developed a new design together with a photo of his almost one and a half year old son Arthur. This way, his little sweetheart is always with him and he finds the motivation to give that little bit extra on his bike. Vanthourenhout's frame also underwent a blue tint and received the characteristic stars of the European champion jersey, so that the bike fits perfectly into the overall picture. The handover of the new bike will take place in the lead-up to the Superprestige in Merksplas. Ridley is proud that another champion is riding one of its bikes again and hopes that the new X-Night will bring luck during the rest of the season.
