Project Breakaway in the Tour de France
Uno-X has a clear goal in the Tour de France: to win a stage. To strengthen this ambition, all partners join forces in 'Project Breakaway'. Together, we push the limits of what’s possible and put all the pieces in place to win. This is the Tour, these are the Breakaway Boys.
Project Breakaway revolves around the development process of the very best tools for the Breakaway Boys. Thanks to the clothing by Fusion, the accessories from Sweet Protection, the wheels from DT Swiss, the components from CeramicSpeed, the nutrition from Maurten, the gloves and covers from GripGrab, and of course our Noah Fast, the team is ready to perform at the highest level!

The symbolism of the breakaway
Uno-X stands as a team symbolizing the breakaway. When you turn on the TV to watch a cycling race, chances are you’ll see a Uno-X rider up front. The breakaway is their natural habitat — a reflection of the team’s fearless, attacking mindset. But make no mistake: they don’t just join the early break to be there. They break away to win.
Just ask Frederik Dversnes, who proved this at the highest level during this year’s Tirreno-Adriatico. When the timing is right and the legs respond, big wins start from the front. It’s a strategy that defines Uno-X: if there’s an attack, they’re in it. Go down fighting or win like a hero—there is no middle ground.
But the breakaway is more than a tactic. It’s freedom. It’s expression. It’s what cycling is all about. In a way, we’re all in the break — chasing something bigger than ourselves, searching for space to breathe, to be, to win. One thing is certain: the finish line always comes, sooner or later, so you might as well arrive in style.

The fastest bike ever
The DNA of Ridley is woven into Project Breakaway. To finish a winning attack, a bike must convert every pedal stroke into speed as efficiently as possible. That’s exactly what the Noah Fast does. Using CFD simulations, extensive wind tunnel testing, and feedback from our pros, every tube shape and surface has been redesigned with one goal: turning power into aerodynamic advantage. At 50 km/h, the new frame saves 8.5 watts compared to the previous model — giving riders the feeling of a constant tailwind, even when there isn’t one.
With its aggressive geometry and integrated cockpit, the Noah Fast is not only UCI-legal but simply the fastest bike we have ever made. Whether it’s a solo attack or a high-speed chase, this is the bike built to make every breakaway count. Add to that the combined efforts of our other partners, and Uno-X is ready for 'La Grande Boucle'!

Noah Fast
The fastest bike we’ve ever builtIn 2025, aerodynamics is everything! Ridley’s product developers started with a blank slate for the third generation of the Noah Fast. The result is a 100% aero bike. At a speed of 50 kilometers per hour, the Noah Fast is 8.5 watts faster than its predecessor. This underscores that aerodynamics are rooted in Ridley’s DNA.
