Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing all operational aspects of the paint shop departments in Belgium and Moldova.
- Developing and implementing operational procedures and guidelines to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitoring quality control processes to ensure consistent and high-quality paint finishes.
- Optimizing production planning and capacity to meet demand and deadlines.
- Managing the workforce, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Working on continuous process improvement and implementing best practices.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the paint shop departments.
Profile and competencies:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably in engineering, production, or operations management.
- Demonstrable experience (minimum of 10 years) in a managerial role within a production environment, preferably in the paint industry.
- Having knowledge of paint shop processes, including experience with various coating systems and application techniques, is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of Romanian is a plus.
- The job requires part-time presence in both Beringen (Belgium) and Chisinau (Moldova).
