In the first two months, he won three televised races and leads the standings in the X2O Badkamers Trophy. His form is the result of a clear summer plan with one goal: Unbound Gravel. During the winter months, beach racing is particularly popular along the beautiful coastlines of France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Over his illustrious career, he amassed 98 professional victories — including Milano–Sanremo, the Tour of Flanders and Gent–Wevelgem — wore the yellow jersey, took Olympic bronze and was crowned European champion.
