Lena Meißner and Rebecca Anderbury chase their 2026 dream on the Triton Fast

  • News
With the launch of the Ridley Triton Fast in autumn 2025, we introduced our very first pure triathlon bike. World Champion Jelle Geens is naturally the ultimate ambassador of this speed machine and successfully defended his world title aboard it. Following in his footsteps, other international triathletes are also making the switch to the Triton Fast. In 2026, both Lena Meißner and Rebecca Anderbury will pursue their ambitions on our fastest triathlon machine ever.

Lena Meißner grew up in Neubrandenburg in northern Germany and demonstrated exceptional endurance talent from an early age. In 2016, she became German sprint champion, won silver at the 2022 European Sprint Championships, and subsequently transitioned successfully to middle-distance racing. In 2025 came her definitive breakthrough over the 70.3 distance. At the Ironman 70.3 European Championship in Jönköping, she was officially crowned European Champion after a thrilling sprint finish. Alongside her sporting career, Lena combines elite triathlon with university studies — proof of her discipline and long-term vision, both on and off the bike.

In 2026, Lena firmly chooses the Triton Fast as her weapon for further development in middle-distance racing. Her bike features a unique light blue fully customized design and was extensively optimized in the Aero Performance Lab. The collaboration with Lena takes place in close synergy with Tri Shop Saar, a specialized triathlon partner based in Saarbrücken, supporting her locally in her performance journey.

“I couldn’t have found a better partner than such a performance-driven and innovative brand as Ridley. What makes this collaboration so special is the focus on the complete picture. At the Aero Performance Lab, everything is done to help me get the absolute maximum out of myself.”

Triton Fast

Tailored to every triathlete

Whether you’re speeding down long, straight roads or tackling sharp, winding courses, the Triton Fast is your perfect partner to achieve your best results in any triathlon. Thanks to its progressive geometry, longer reach, and taller head tube, you can stay in your aero position longer with unmatched stability and control. With the flip chips in the fork, you can fine-tune the bike’s handling to any course. From flat, fast stretches to technical, twisty routes, the Triton Fast can handle it all. Leveraging the advanced aero technology of the Noah Fast 3.0, we’ve made the Triton Fast the fastest bike in the peloton.

Rebecca Anderbury

Rebecca Anderbury continues to steadily build her international reputation from her base in Loughborough. In 2025, she claimed her first 70.3 victory, finished 14th at the 70.3 World Championship, and impressed in the T100 Series. Known for her strong bike-run combination and significantly improved swim discipline, Rebecca is increasingly positioning herself at the front of the field. Alongside her professional triathlon career, she works part-time as a pharmacist. Together with her husband Dan, she forms “Team Anderbury,” a strong duo combining elite sport with professional life beyond sport.

Rebecca raced her first events on the Triton Fast at the end of 2025, including the World Championship in Marbella. She continues that partnership into 2026. Her striking pink Triton Fast has already become a recognizable presence in the international triathlon peloton. This season, she will also add a purple Ridley Noah Fast 3.0 to her setup for road training and selected races.

“I couldn’t wish for a better and more rider-focused brand than Ridley. I’m incredibly ambitious to push my limits as an athlete this year.”

Kenneth Vandendriessche

Lena and Rebecca’s choice for the Triton Fast is no coincidence. Within Ridley, the triathlon project is coordinated by Kenneth Vandendriessche, former professional triathlete and today Brand & Sales Manager Triathlon / Pure Speed. As a former elite athlete, he knows exactly what is required to make bike and athlete function as one integrated system.

That philosophy translates into close collaboration between all departments within Belgian Cycling Factory. Every position, every angle and every detail is analyzed to gain watt after watt. In addition, Ridley also supports Irish triathlete and medical doctor Shannon Amy Kelly. She combines her medical career with elite sporting ambitions and rides, among others, the Ridley Falcn RS. With a preference for challenging and niche events — such as the Samla Race in Qatar — she perfectly embodies the versatility of the Ridley performance story.
