Ridley and Eddy Merckx will make its first combined global show appearance at Interbike Las Vegas, following the announcement in June of the takeover of the brand Eddy Merckx by Belgian Cycling Factory NV (in the past known as Race Productions).

“We are looking forward to Interbike. The show will give us a chance to talk with press, dealers and industry about our strategy moving forward. We have worked hard on developing a new IBD focused sales plan and remodeled dealer programs. Dealers will want to be involved” says Heather Rizzi, US National Sales Manager for both brands. Current dealers will find opportunities to offer clients both brands within their stores.

Eddy Merckx previously had sales and distribution offices in Mount Kisco NY. Ridley previously worked with Podium Marketing for US distribution and sales. Belgian Cycling Factory is currently setting up US based warehousing and office space.

Belgian Cycling Factory has brought on board former Merckx National Sales Manager, Heather Rizzi, to help with sales development for both brands within the US. They have further invested in Phil Capezio, former Eddy Merckx US based Operations Manager, to help with their logistical services, warranty and tech support moving forward.

Edward Vlutters, Belgian Cycling Factory Global Sales Director adds, “ We see the necessity and benefit of having a US based team, office and warehousing. We are committed to building our US market, and supporting the growth of our IBD partnerships. We are convinced that Heather and Phil will help us get there.”

The brands will be showcased at the indoor show in Las Vegas, booth number 17247. For those not attending the show but interested in more information, please contact Heather Rizzi at heather.rizzi@cyclingfactory.be
