2 golden and a silver medal for Ridley bikes at the European Championships

‘Three different cycling disciplines, three medals’
With 3 medals at the European championships, Ridley bikes can talk about a successful European campaign, taking a medal in three different cycling disciplines.

It all started with Marianne Vos who sprinted to the second place during the women road race. After taking the European title last year, she had to be satisfied with the silver medal this year. After a dominant ride of the Dutch women, Vos just missed the cherry on the cake. The vibe Marianne is showing these past weeks is really impressive. Other victories will follow?

Ridley gained a second medal on the track. The Belgian duo Robbe Ghys and Kenny de Ketele crowned themselves as the new European Madison champions. The unexperienced Ghys found with Kenny de Ketele the ideal partner to form a fantastic team with. Despite the many attacks by the German World champs and the fact that Robbe Ghys started a round too early with cheering, they managed to defend their lead until the finish line to become the new European Madison champions.

A few days later, Victor Campenaerts started as one of the favorites at the European time trial race. After a hard and rainy ride around Glasgow on his Dean Fast, 63 hundredths were enough for Campenaerts to grab, for the second year in a row, the European time trial title.
