    The 2025–2026 cyclocross season is in full swing, and Joris Nieuwenhuis is one of the strongest riders in the peloton. In the first two months, he won three televised races and leads the standings in the X2O Badkamers Trophy. His form is the result of a clear summer plan with one goal: Unbound Gravel.     During the winter months, beach racing is particularly popular along the beautiful coastlines of France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Our dealer Captain Velo from Coquelles (Pas-de-Calais) taps perfectly into this trend with its own “Beach Team” within UVC Calais. The riders of this team contest their beach races on a modified version of the ASTR RS. Because this combination really captured our imagination, we visited our loyal dealer to find out more.
