Tobias Halland Johannessen targets another top result at the Tour de France
With an impressive sixth place in Stage 2 of the Tour de France, Tobias Halland Johannessen has made a strong start to La Grande Boucle. The Uno-X leader finished sixth overall in last year's Tour and is aiming for another standout performance this summer. Over the next three weeks, we'll be following the Norwegian and Danish riders closely from our headquarters.
Johannessen wasted no time making his mark at the Grand Départ in Catalonia. On Saturday, he played a key role for Uno-X in the team time trial, helping the team to 14th place. A day later, he launched an attack in the final kilometres towards Barcelona. Although he wasn't allowed to ride clear, the Norwegian still secured an impressive sixth place on the stage and now sits 12th in the overall standings. His Tour ambitions come as no surprise after finishing fourth at Tirreno-Adriatico, third at the Tour of the Basque Country and fifth at the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes earlier this season. With the FIFA World Cup also capturing the nation's imagination, Norway could be in for a memorable sporting summer.

The Uno-X riders are racing on our Noah Fast. Keen-eyed fans may already have noticed that Tobias Halland Johannessen is riding a unique black version. In reality, the frame isn't painted at all. By leaving the carbon raw, a few extra grams are saved—every gram matters for a climber. It's a performance-driven choice that we at Ridley fully support.

Noah Fast
The fastest bike we’ve ever builtAs of 2025, aerodynamics is everything! That’s why Ridley’s product developers started from a blank sheet for the third generation of the Noah Fast. The result is a 100% aero bike. At a speed of 50 km/h, the Noah Fast is 8.5 watts faster than its predecessor. This underlines that aerodynamics is truly embedded in Ridley’s DNA.
