This Saturday, July 4, Uno-X will line up in Barcelona for the start of the 113th edition of the Tour de France. The team heads to Catalonia with a mix of Norwegian and Danish riders, led by newly crowned national champions Anders Skaarseth and Magnus Cort. Uno-X also has a double mission: just like last year, Jonas Abrahamsen will be targeting stage victories, while Tobias Halland Johannessen hopes to improve on his sixth-place finish in the 2025 general classification. One thing is already certain: thanks to our Vikings, Ridley will once again enjoy a full month in the spotlight.

Twenty years after winning his last world title, he now wants to return to Kona, where he experienced the greatest moments of his career. Last week, the national road cycling championships took place across Europe. For Uno-X, it was a glorious week. In addition to the expected double victory in Norway—Sigrid Ytterhus Haugset claiming the women's title and Anders Skaarseth winning the men's race—the team also celebrated success in Finland and Denmark. Skaarseth secured the Norwegian title aboard a bike featuring the original Strata design. The 31-year-old Norwegian champion will proudly debut his new national champion's jersey in front of a global audience at the Tour de France.

The Ridley E-ASTR has now been around for about a year, and more and more cycling enthusiasts are discovering what this assisted gravel bike has to offer. The reactions after a first test ride have been remarkably positive. That was certainly the case for Griet Wouters from the Belgian Kempen region, who rediscovered her love of cycling thanks to the bike. “Thanks to the E-ASTR, I can finally go riding with my husband again,” she says. “He has much stronger legs than I do, but thanks to the motor we can stay together and both get a great workout. For me, it makes a world of difference.”
