Ciao, Bella Italia! Uno-X sees life through rose-colored glasses in the Giro d’Italia Women

  • News
This Sunday marks the start of the 35th edition of the Giro d’Italia Women in Bergamo. The organization of this Grand Tour lies in the hands of RCS Sport, in collaboration with the Italian cycling federation. Formerly known as Giro Rosa and Giro Donne, this stage race has grown into a major highlight on the calendar, and the Uno-X women ensure that our bikes are beautifully represented in the battle for pink!

Uno-X has already had a fantastic season, which kicked off with a podium finish by Mie Bjørndal Ottestad in the Santos Tour Down Under. Victories by Susanne Andersen in the Ronde de Mouscron and the Antwerp Port Epic emphasized Uno-X’s Belgian connection, while Linda Zanetti (Vuelta CV Feminas) and Ottestad (Tour of Norway) found success from the sultry south to the far north.

National champions

At the end of June, the team took home no fewer than six national titles! Anniina Ahtosalo claimed the double in Finland, while the jerseys were neatly divided in Denmark and Norway. Katrine Aalerud became Norwegian time trial champion, and Ottestad won the road race. In Denmark, Rebecca Koerner was the fastest against the clock, and Alberte Greve may call herself Danish road champion.

Four of these five champions will also start in the Giro. Alongside Aalerud, Ahtosalo, Greve, and Koerner, the team will be completed by Solbjørk Minke Anderson, Teuntje Beekhuis, and Anouska Koster. This makes for a particularly strong lineup. The riders use the Noah Fast and the Falcn RS, depending on the course requirements.

The Giro starts Sunday with an individual time trial in Bergamo and then travels through the Prosecco Hills in Valdobbiadene, the sandy beaches of Bellaria-Igea Marina, and ultimately the Imola racetrack. The best of the boot in just over a week. Uno-X will be seeing life through pink glasses for a whole week — buona fortuna, ladies!

Noah Fast

The fastest bike we’ve ever built

In 2025, aerodynamics is everything! Ridley’s product developers started with a blank slate for the third generation of the Noah Fast. The result is a 100% aero bike. At a speed of 50 kilometers per hour, the Noah Fast is 8.5 watts faster than its predecessor. This underscores that aerodynamics are rooted in Ridley’s DNA.
