Promotion to the WorldTour and victory at Flanders Legacy Gravel

  • News
This past weekend was once again a successful one for Ridley. With Sakarias Koller Løland’s victory in the Veneto Classic, Uno-X officially secured promotion to the WorldTour. Meanwhile, Aaron Van der Beken claimed victory at Flanders Legacy Gravel, marking a great conclusion to his successful gravel campaign.

Uno-X had not initially set out to make the jump to the top level this year. However, due to recent developments in the peloton — including the merger between Lotto and Intermarché-Wanty, and the end of Arkéa–B&B — a unique opportunity arose. In the final weeks of the season, Cofidis and Uno-X battled for the remaining WorldTour license.

A second place for Anders Halland Johannessen in the general classification of the Petronas Le Tour de Langkawi gave the Norwegian team the upper hand. Ultimately, everything came down to the final race, where Sakarias Koller Løland not only earned the necessary UCI points but also took the win at the Veneto Classic — sealing the deal. As a result, the Noah Fast will be seen next year in the Giro d’Italia, Vuelta a España, and every major race on the calendar.

Noah Fast

The fastest bike we’ve ever built

In 2025, aerodynamics is everything! Ridley’s product developers started with a blank slate for the third generation of the Noah Fast. The result is a 100% aero bike. At a speed of 50 kilometers per hour, the Noah Fast is 8.5 watts faster than its predecessor. This underscores that aerodynamics are rooted in Ridley’s DNA.

The Ridley Racing Team also delivered this weekend. In Leuven, Aaron Van der Beken claimed his first-ever gravel victory at the Flanders Legacy Gravel event. In this round of the UCI Gravel World Series, he was the fastest of a twelve-rider group sprinting for the line. Competing in his first gravel season, Aaron’s win underlines his steady progress in the discipline.

Meanwhile, the cyclocross season is in full swing. On Friday, Felipe Orts narrowly missed the podium in Ardooie, while on Sunday Joris Nieuwenhuis secured the first podium finish of the season in Ruddervoorde’s Superprestige round. He spent much of the race in the lead before being caught in the final laps. Still, with Michael Vanthourenhout taking the win, the victory remained within the Ridley family.
