Ridley was founded in 1997. Since its inception, Belgium's largest bicycle manufacturer has been firmly at the forefront of product innovation. Its first innovative development was the conical headset, which was introduced in 2001 on the Ridley Damocles bike. This development subsequently became the standard in the bike industry. Since then, Ridley continues to astonish technologically with aerodynamic road bikes and gravel bikes.

View the latest newsSince the brand’s inception in 1997, Ridley has invested heavily in Research & Development. This has enabled us to be at the forefront of various innovations such as aerodynamic bikes, the tapered head tube, the use of carbon in bikes, and the emerging European gravel market. Throughout the years, we have also remained true to our technological philosophy: Form Follows Function. Every part of the frame must have an added value. Some aesthetic elements, of course, are permitted – as long as they don’t compromise the bike’s optimal function.

DiscoverBike Valley Incubator is an open innovation center for both the bike and bike-racing industries in Flanders, which is internationally known as a true cycling paradise! This innovation hub has a unique low-speed wind tunnel and climate chamber, where studies and tests are carried out on a daily basis for performance optimisation. Naturally, this is where Victor Campenaerts spent many hours in preparation for his world hour record.
To the Bike Valley websiteA bicycle can be super stiff, light, aerodynamic and comfortable. If your bike fit isn't ideal, you will never tap into the bike's full potential. Are you sitting a few centimetres too high or too low? Do you have to bend too far over to be able to grab your handlebar? Then you are only riding at 50% of your capability. You don't have to be a pro to feel that difference.
