Jelle Geens extends Ironman 70.3 world title on Triton Fast

  • News
Last Sunday, our ambassador Jelle Geens became Ironman 70.3 World Champion for the second year in a row. In Marbella, it came down to a sprint for victory, with the 32-year-old Belgian pulling ahead at the finish. Along the way, Jelle rode the Triton Fast, a bike he helped to develop himself. For us, this victory proves that the Triton Fast is the ultimate bike for the pure triathlete.

Last year, Jelle rode the Dean Fast at the World Championships in New Zealand. The Limburg native claimed the world title and switched to the Triton Fast later in the season. During the development of this pure triathlon bike, he worked closely with our engineers, providing valuable feedback on the advanced cockpit and the integrated hydration system.

Triton Fast

Tailored to every triathlete

Whether you’re speeding down long, straight roads or tackling sharp, winding courses, the Triton Fast is your perfect partner to achieve your best results in any triathlon. Thanks to its progressive geometry, longer reach, and taller head tube, you can stay in your aero position longer with unmatched stability and control. With the flip chips in the fork, you can fine-tune the bike’s handling to any course. From flat, fast stretches to technical, twisty routes, the Triton Fast can handle it all. Leveraging the advanced aero technology of the Noah Fast 3.0, we’ve made the Triton Fast the fastest bike in the peloton.

Thrilling duel

In sunny Marbella, all the hard work paid off. Jelle handled the swim leg well and was still part of the nine-man lead group after the bike segment. During the run, his class truly shone through. It became an intense duel with Kristian Blummenfelt, but in the end, the Belgian came out on top.

On Saturday, Rebecca Anderbury was also in action. Our ambassador finished 14th, a result she could only have dreamed of a year ago. All in all, it was an exceptionally successful weekend in Marbella!
