Uno-X riders visit factory facilities
Last Tuesday, we had special guests in Beringen. A strong delegation from Uno-X stopped by for a tour of the factory facilities. This week they are participating in the Baloise Belgium Tour, as a final step towards the Tour de France. The riders showed great interest in the bicycle production process and were also given a sneak preview of the bikes of tomorrow.
The summer of 2025 is still fresh in our memory. Back then, the Baloise Belgium Tour literally passed by our doorstep, but it was also marked by the crash and withdrawal of Jonas Abrahamsen. Nevertheless, a few weeks later he won a stage in the Tour on the Noah Fast. This year, the Norwegian powerhouse has chosen the same preparation. He is joined by Jonas Hem Hvideberg, Storm Ingebrigtsen, William Blume Levy, Erik Nordsæter Resell, Rasmus Tiller and Søren Wærenskjold. On the eve of the opening stage in Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, they took the opportunity to visit the Belgian Cycling Factory.

Enthusiasm
The riders took a look inside the wind tunnel of the Aero Performance Lab and received an explanation about the collaboration from CEO Jochim Aerts. CTO Pieter Potters and Senior Product Manager Bert Kenens then showcased the future projects they are working on. During the tour, the riders also saw how the bikes are fully assembled in the factory via BCF’s in-house paint shop.
“What stood out to me was how enthusiastic the riders were about the visit,” says Sports Marketeer Stijn De Ceuster. “They showed a strong interest in the new road bikes our engineers are currently developing. Our future gravel range was also very well received. While the riders don’t compete in gravel races, they do use gravel bikes as part of their training. We also learned from the team manager that the team has been training at altitude in recent weeks, and we hope to see the benefits of that in the Tour.”
After the visit, the impressive Uno-X team bus continued on to the riders’ hotel. In the coming weeks, we at Ridley will be cheering on our Vikings at the highest level! Go, team!
