In the beautiful Maasland region, between the whisper boats and Konik horses, Hugo Meus (72) feels at home. He truly relaxes on his brand-new E-Noah in candy red, our first aero e-road bike. Hugo rides most of his kilometers under his own power, but on the toughest sections he gets support from his TQ motor. “At my age, you have to be realistic and embrace technology. I’m not afraid of putting in an effort, but I also allow myself that extra bit of power sometimes,” he explains.

In the spring of 2025, we already announced that three adventurers were hard at work preparing for their unique mission. Nearly a hundred years later, they would follow in the footsteps of Polish world traveler Kazimierz Nowak, the very first cyclist to cross the African continent. At the beginning of October, the moment finally arrived: author and writer Tom Ysewijn, actor Titus De Voogdt, and podcast creator Jeroen Franssens stood at the starting line of their unforgettable route. Their adventures can now be heard in the podcast ‘Nowak’.

Our community shines at The Traka in Girona’s gravel mecca

Last weekend, Girona once again became Europe’s gravel mecca during The Traka. The Ridley community showed up in large numbers and demonstrated the breadth of our gravel range. From a sporting perspective, there were strong results for the riders of Ridley Racing Crew, with a 19th place for Arne Van Den Broeck in The Traka 360, as well as a 15th place for Kevin Panhuyzen and a 21st place for Daan Soete in The Traka 200. In the background, many other riders achieved their personal goals.

On seven Tuesdays, spread over six months, the track opens in the evening for cycling enthusiasts. From 6:15 PM until sunset, it’s up to you to discover iconic places in sports history such as the Raidillon of Eau Rouge and La Source by bike. And for the occasion, you can also ride an ultra-fast Ridley test bike.

Cyclocross legend Roland Liboton receives E-GRIFN with tricolour via our dealer Smartwheels

Cyclocross legend Roland Liboton received a remarkable surprise last weekend at the Bocholt-based bike specialist Smartwheels. He was presented with an E-GRIFN featuring a unique custom design. The occasion marked both Liboton’s 69th birthday and the tenth anniversary of Smartwheels. The initiative was brought together by entrepreneur Davy De Ceuster, who works with Liboton as an advisor for the De Ceuster Bouwpunt Cycling Team.
