Noah Fast vs. Falcn RS

At the start of 2025, we launched the Noah Fast, our 100% aero bike that is 8.5 watts faster at 50 km/h than its predecessor. This bike comes less than a year and a half after the release of the Falcn RS, another road performance racing machine. Riders from Uno-X Mobility can be seen riding both bikes. So, what are the key differences between the Noah Fast and the Falcn RS?

Aero-to-Aero vs. Aero-to-Weight

This distinction is reflected in our bike categories: the Noah Fast falls under the "aero-to-aero" category, while the Falcn RS belongs to "aero-to-weight." We have a long history when it comes to aero bikes—aerodynamics is in Ridley's DNA. Every model in the Noah family has been a market benchmark. With the new Noah Fast, we’re once again pushing the limits of aerodynamic efficiency, thanks in part to the UCI’s new 8:1 rule.

Aero-to-weight, on the other hand, represents the pursuit of the ultimate balance between aerodynamics and low weight. We designed the Falcn RS to take on all terrains—from high mountains to Flemish classics. The lightweight frame (825 grams) helps you break personal records on the toughest climbs in your area.

Both bikes are built for performance—let’s just say competitive purposes. With the Noah Fast, we fully commit to aerodynamics, and that’s intentional. Tests have shown that, at current road cycling speeds, aerodynamics plays a much more significant role due to the exponential relationship between speed and air resistance.

On very mountainous terrain, the lightweight Falcn RS becomes a worthy alternative. Specifically, the Falcn RS performs better from speeds of 20 km/h on slopes of 7% or steeper. The higher the speed, the steeper the climb must be for the even lighter Falcn RS to come out on top.

Pure Speed vs. Livelier Ride Feel

Every element of the Noah Fast is designed for aerodynamics and speed. On this bike, you’ll experience the feeling of pure speed in a tight, aerodynamic position. The Falcn RS, by contrast, feels more lively, playful, and responsive—thanks in part to its lighter weight. When the Dutch magazine Bicycling named the Falcn RS the “Best Performance Road Bike” of 2024, it described the bike as follows: “It’s easy to gain speed on the Falcn RS, and the bike has plenty of explosiveness. In open landscapes, you fly on this bike, and the kilometers pass by quickly.”

Progressive Design vs. Classic Design

A single glance at the Noah Fast is enough to see that it’s a very modern bike, with an oversized down tube and extended head tube. In the pursuit of the fastest bike, we use long, narrow profiles here—they are extra aerodynamic but also slightly heavier. This creates aesthetic differences. The Falcn RS, in terms of design, is a more classic-looking bike.

Noah Fast

The fastest bike we’ve ever built

In 2025, aerodynamics is everything! Ridley’s product developers started with a blank slate for the third generation of the Noah Fast. The result is a 100% aero bike. At a speed of 50 kilometers per hour, the Noah Fast is 8.5 watts faster than its predecessor. This underscores that aerodynamics are rooted in Ridley’s DNA.
