Three Podium Finishes for Our Triathlon Ambassadors
With the arrival of the highly popular Triton Fast, Ridley has also welcomed a number of triathletes to its roster. This weekend, our three triathlon ambassadors delivered a collective masterclass. Jolien Vermeylen, Lena Meissner, and Rebecca Anderbury all stepped onto the podium. “We believe 100% in this partnership, and I’m delighted to see it paying off so quickly,” said Brand & Sales Manager Triathlon Kenneth Vandendriessche.
The first standout performance came from Jolien Vermeylen, our most recently added ambassador. Just one week after winning silver at the European Sprint Championships, she claimed third place in the sprint race of the World Triathlon Championship Series in Quiberon, set against the rugged, unspoiled landscape of Brittany. After emerging from the water in second place, she held her own on the bike leg aboard her Ridley, staying within the lead group. Only in the final two kilometers of the run did she have to concede gold and silver. “Can someone pinch me?” the Belgian joked afterwards, celebrating her first podium finish at this level.
For Lena Meissner’s performance, we move to Helsingør in Denmark, located in the northeast and known for Kronborg Castle, famously featured in William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The German triathlete secured third place at the IRONMAN 70.3 Pro Series with a time of 4:04:55. “It was an incredible course with an outstanding field of women, which made for a fantastic weekend,” said our ambassador.

Britain’s Rebecca Anderbury also delivered a strong performance this weekend. In Gdańsk, Poland, local athlete Marta Lagownik proved unbeatable, but the battle for the remaining podium spots was intense. Rebecca ultimately finished “best of the rest” in a time of 4:14:06. After a challenging period following Lanzarote, she managed to bounce back with an impressive result.
