In modern bike racing, every gram is carefully considered. As the level rises and the margins between riders become smaller, a lightweight bike can make the difference when the road points upwards, when an acceleration is launched or when you need to put the power down again after hours in the saddle. At the same time, low weight alone is no longer enough. A modern race bike also needs to be aerodynamically efficient, offer sufficient stiffness to transfer every watt to the road and feature geometry that reflects the way racing is done today. That is exactly what we set out to achieve with the new FALCN RS 2.0: an Aero-to-Weight race bike that combines exceptionally low weight with aerodynamic efficiency and progressive race geometry.

The FALCN RS 2.0 is much more than a lighter version of its predecessor. The frame, fork and seatpost have all been completely redesigned, making the system 12% lighter than the previous generation. The result is a frame weighing just 705 grams in size M, while lateral stiffness remains at the level expected of an aerodynamic race bike. This creates a bike that does not just feel light when you pick it up, but responds with remarkable lightness, directness and liveliness as soon as you put power through the pedals. The FALCN RS 2.0 was also tested at the highest level before its official launch. During the 2026 Tour de France, several Uno-X Mobility riders raced the bike, while yellow jersey wearer Torstein Træen used it in the mountains.
12% lighter
Every gram counts. That is why the FALCN RS 2.0 was completely redesigned rather than simply further optimising the previous generation. Our engineers revisited the carbon lay-up and reduced overlaps between carbon layers, while retaining material precisely where it is structurally necessary. Details such as the hollow rear brake mounts also contribute to the weight savings. As a result, the frameset – frame, fork and seatpost – is 12% lighter than the previous generation, with a frame weight of just 705 grams in size M. Crucially, this weight reduction does not come at the expense of performance. Lateral stiffness remains at the level of an aero race bike, allowing the FALCN RS 2.0 to accelerate instantly and transfer your power to the road efficiently. You notice this most when the gradient gets steeper and every acceleration counts, but also when you want to build speed again on flat or rolling roads.
Aero-to-Weight
The FALCN RS 2.0 is about more than low weight alone. We combine the ultralight carbon platform with aerodynamically optimised tube shapes, keeping the bike efficient even at high speeds. Smoother transitions between the different frame tubes allow us to save material without negatively affecting aerodynamic performance. The components are also designed around the same Aero-to-Weight philosophy. The slim aero seatpost combines low weight with an aerodynamic profile, while the fully integrated Nimbus Pro cockpit optimises airflow around the front of the bike and helps the rider adopt an efficient race position more easily. The result is a bike that is not simply the lightest option possible, but one that strikes a balance between climbing speed and aerodynamic efficiency.
Progressive race geometry
The FALCN RS 2.0 features a completely new geometry developed together with the riders and bike fitters of Uno-X Mobility. Insights from thousands of kilometres of WorldTour racing formed the basis for a modern race position that reflects the evolution of professional cycling. The steeper 76° seat tube angle is identical across all frame sizes and positions the rider more centrally over the bike. Combined with a longer reach and higher stack, this creates a modern position with a more open hip angle, supporting an efficient pedalling motion and comfort during longer efforts. The slightly lower bottom bracket also provides greater stability and confidence at high speeds. The result is a geometry that combines efficiency and control with the direct, responsive and playful handling you expect from a true race bike.
A complete lightweight race platform
An extremely lightweight frame is only one part of a climbing bike. That is why we also carefully selected components that reinforce the Aero-to-Weight philosophy of the FALCN RS 2.0. Depending on the build, the bike is equipped with AX Lightness Ultra SL, Forza Skiron RSR or Mavic Comete 50 wheels, while Vittoria Corsa PRO Speed tyres with lightweight TPU inner tubes and a Selle Italia SLR Racing Replica saddle further help to keep the system weight low. In its lightest configuration, the complete FALCN RS 2.0 weighs just 6.2 kg in size M, without pedals. The SRAM Force AXS version weighs 6.65 kg, while the Shimano Ultegra Di2 version comes in at 6.8 kg. This means the lightest configuration even comes in below the official UCI minimum weight limit for race bikes, giving professional riders additional freedom to opt for more aerodynamic or other component choices.

Built for more than just climbing.

The FALCN RS 2.0 has been developed from the ground up. Not as a facelift, but as a completely new platform, developed in close collaboration with the riders, bike fitters and performance staff of Uno-X Mobility. The new geometry is based on their experience and feedback from the WorldTour, ensuring that the bike reflects the evolution of modern professional racing.

The FALCN RS 2.0 was developed together with Uno-X, but it is certainly not a bike designed exclusively for professional riders or pure climbers. Product developer Bert Kenens emphasises this too. “The FALCN RS 2.0 is for anyone who loves a light, lively race bike that responds instantly when you put down the power. Thanks to the combination of low weight, aerodynamic efficiency and modern geometry, the bike feels equally at home in the Ardennes as it does on a fast club ride on flat roads.”

This versatility also defines the position of the FALCN RS 2.0 within our race range. While the Noah Fast focuses on maximum aerodynamic performance on flat and fast courses, the FALCN RS 2.0 deliberately strikes a different balance. Both bikes complement each other and together form our performance road platform.

The FALCN RS impressed me from the very first ride. The bike feels incredibly responsive, is remarkably stable and inspires confidence in every situation, from steep climbs to fast descents. Being able to race it in the yellow jersey during the Tour de France made it even more special. The bike performed flawlessly throughout the entire Tour. It is without a doubt one of the best bikes I have ever ridden, and I am proud to have been part of its story.
