About Invenio Grifn A

The INVENIO GRIFN A brings together the best of both worlds in a unique allroad aluminium bike that impresses in both performance and design. Built on the same acclaimed geometry as the carbon Grifn, this bike offers a perfect balance of speed, comfort, and control, making it ideal for both asphalt and gravel.

The bike is designed with maximum versatility in mind: you can effortlessly switch between a sporty road setup and an adventurous offroad configuration. With tire clearance up to 38 mm — or even 40 mm in a 1x drivetrain setup — and the possibility to integrate mudguards and a dynamo, the INVENIO GRIFN A is equally suited for long rides, gravel adventures, and daily commuting.

Technically, this bike stays true to modern standards, featuring a UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger), which is rare in the aluminium segment and ensures future-proof compatibility and ease of use.

What truly sets this version apart is the exclusive Tomorrowland design. Inspired by the iconic Noah and Noah Fast Tomorrowland Edition, this bike radiates pure magic. The specially developed holographic-prismatic paint subtly shifts color depending on the light — from deep purple to warm blue to vibrant pink. On top of that, a refined prismatic layer adds a sparkling effect reminiscent of oil-slick rainbows in sunlight. The result is a bike that feels alive, constantly evolving and revealing new dimensions.

The INVENIO GRIFN A embodies the shared vision of two Belgian pioneers: innovation, experience, and discovery. It is a versatile all-rounder for riders who refuse to compromise — neither in performance nor in aesthetics.

Two worlds, one bike

With the Grifn family, you can hit the road as well as the off-road. You simply change wheelsets and do a gran fondo gravel on Saturday and hit the road the day after with the regular cycling club. With this family, you no longer need any other bikes.

Personalized setup

The frame has three attachment points on the down tube and two beneath it, as well as three on the seat tube, allowing you to adjust the position of your bottle cages in combination with a frame bag. Additionally, there are two attachment points on the top tube for a top tube bag or toolkit. Furthermore, we have designed specific mudguards for the Grifn, enabling you to use your bike in all weather conditions.

All-road geometry

The geometry of the Ridley Grifn is the superb overlap of a stiff racing- and a tolerant off-road frame! The goal is a reactive and nimble riding feel while keeping a stable handling on off-road terrain. The head tube angle of the Grifn is slightly flatter than the head tube angle of a road bike. Compared to a gravel bike, the head tube angle is sharper. This results in a completely new geometry, specifically designed for the all-road segment. The riders of Classified Ridley were also consulted and gave positive feedback on this all-roader.

The Tomorrowland design of the INVENIO GRIFN A is much more than a striking paint finish — it is a visual experience that is constantly evolving. The specially developed holographic-prismatic coating reacts to light and movement, allowing colors to shift fluidly from deep purple to warm blue and vibrant pink.

An additional prismatic layer creates a subtle sparkle that comes to life in direct sunlight, with reflections reminiscent of oil-slick rainbows. This gives the bike a dynamic character that never looks the same, depending on the moment and surroundings.

This unique design is the result of a close collaboration between Ridley’s in-house paint shop and Tomorrowland’s creative team. It translates the magic, energy, and imagination of the festival into a bike that not only rides, but inspires.

Triple-butted technique

Ridley opts for a 6061-T6 aluminum alloy for the Grifn A due to its excellent scores in stiffness, metal fatigue, weight, and welding precision. Each tube has a wall thickness at its center three times thinner than at the ends, employing the ‘triple-butted’ technique to minimize weight and maximize stiffness. The clean welding of each tube ensures that the Grifn A is a thoroughly modern aluminum bike.

Optimized tire clearance

With the Grifn A, you have the option for tires up to 38 millimeters, and if you opt for a 1x drivetrain, you can even go up to 40 millimeters. With 38 millimeters, you typically have enough options to handle various gravel challenges. This maintains a balance between speed and agility on one hand, and comfort and stability on the other. Of course, on the road, you can easily switch wheels or tires if needed.

Cable routing for lights

Like every bike in the Grifn family, you have the option to route the cable for a rear light through the top tube. This internal cable routing for the dynamo hub is also concealed in the fork leg, eliminating the need for tape and protruding cable ties. This enables you to install lighting on your bike, which is a highly convenient addition when you want to venture into the darkness.

The universal derailleur hanger (UDH) is the new standard in the cycling world. Not only is this derailleur hanger compatible with all modern shifting groups, it also protects against derailleur breakage and chain drops. In mountain biking, UDH has long been very common, and Ridley is bringing the technology to other segments as well.
