The Kanzo Fast 2.0 features a completely revised geometry, developed around the larger tyres and higher speeds of modern gravel racing. The steeper seat tube angle positions the rider further forward on the bike, making it easier to maintain an aerodynamic position during long efforts. The lower bottom bracket compensates for the increased tyre volume and provides additional stability at high speed. At the same time, the fork rake has been adjusted to the larger wheel radius to maintain a nimble and precise steering feel. The result is a race bike that combines an efficient riding position with confidence and control across demanding gravel courses.
The Kanzo Fast 2.0 features a discreet storage compartment inside the downtube, providing space for essentials such as a CO₂ cartridge, multitool or spare tube. A robust cover keeps the contents securely in place without disturbing the aerodynamic shape of the frame. The bike comes with two padded storage pouches in different sizes, allowing riders to adapt their loadout to the needs of each ride or race. Both pouches can be used individually or together. Their padding also helps minimise unwanted rattling sounds while riding.
The Kanzo Fast 2.0 brings Ridley’s third-generation aero technology from the Noah Fast into the gravel segment. The frame’s aerodynamic development is specifically tuned to accommodate the larger tyre volumes required by modern gravel racing. Wider tyres typically create additional aerodynamic drag, but the optimised frame shapes are designed to offset this loss in aerodynamic efficiency. This allows the Kanzo Fast 2.0 to combine the performance benefits of wider tyres with the speed of a highly aerodynamic race bike. The result is a gravel platform that remains efficient even at high speeds.
The Kanzo Fast 2.0 offers clearance for tyres up to 58 mm, equivalent to a 29 × 2.3” MTB tyre. This gives gravel racers the freedom to adapt their tyre choice to the course, surface and conditions. High-volume tyres can provide tangible advantages on rough gravel, including increased traction, improved comfort and lower rolling resistance. Riders opting for narrower tyres also benefit from generous mud clearance, which can be particularly valuable in wet and technical races. Rather than being designed around a single tyre size, the Kanzo Fast 2.0 provides a race platform that can be adapted to the demands of every course.
The Kanzo Fast 2.0 is designed for more than dry race days. Integrated top tube mounts allow riders to add a low-profile top tube bag, while compatibility with Ridley’s bespoke Curana mudguard system makes the bike suitable for winter training and wet-weather riding. Combined with its wide tyre clearance, the Kanzo Fast 2.0 can be adapted to a wide range of conditions without compromising its racing DNA.
The Ridley Kanzo Fast 2.0 was recognised by leading cycling platform BikeRadar and praised as a bike that “defines everything the modern gravel bike should be.” Its combination of speed, aerodynamics, control and versatility makes the Kanzo Fast 2.0 a gravel bike ready for any challenge. A modern gravel bike, recognised by one of the world’s leading cycling platforms.

How can we help?
Yes, narrower tyres can be used, we do advise a minimum tyre width of 40mm.
We supply a smaller and a larger pouch with the bike. This allows the rider to choose their loadout depending on their needs. Both pouches can be used together or separately. The pouches are padded to reduce rattling sounds as much as possible.
Yes, this is possible. We have developed a bespoke mudguard kit together with the experts at Curana. When fitting mudguards the maximum tyre clearance is limited to 47mm. We choose to provide this option as many riders don’t have the luxury of having a dedicated winter training bike and we wanted to make foul weather riding more comfortable.
No, this is not possible. The KF2.0 is a 1x only bike. The mounting point on the seat tube is for a chainguide to provide additional chain retention on rough terrain. Modern gravel drivetrains also provide enough range to tailor the gearing to the needs of the rider. By eliminating the front derailleur and double chainrings we also reduce the risk of failure or malfunction because of these extra parts.
While this is not the intended use case for a Kanzo Fast it can be used for lighter bikepacking or so-called fast packing with lighter loads.
Due to ‘packaging constraints’. It was not possible to combine the tyre and chainring clearance with a wide enough chainstay yoke that would allow routing of a mechanical shifter cable. If you look closely at the drive side chainstay behind the BB you will see that this has a blade like shape to allow for enough room for the tyre and chainring.
Chainrings up to 56T (47.5mm chainline) can be used.
The BB86 pressfit BB interface provides us with sufficient width to combine tyre clearance with a voluminous BB area for drivetrain stiffness as well as a smooth transition to the aero downtube. Ridley uses BB86 on almost all of its carbon fiber bikes for many years already and our experience shows that this is a very reliable BB standard.
We choose this location because of reliability. Moving the water bottle mount away from the door means that there is less stress and strain on the door. This reduces the chance of a malfunction of the door. Also in case of a door malfunction the water bottle carrying capacity is not impacted which is crucial in modern day racing where fueling and hydration are key parameters. The position at the bottom results in a lower center of gravity by having the additional weight of the loaded pouches as close to the BB as possible.
Yes, this pack fits all Ridley bikes (carbon and aluminium) with top tube mounting points. The article code of this pack is STOTTPRID003 and it’s available through Ridley dealers. Ridley also offers a bigger top tube pack for more carrying capacity that also fits all Ridley models with top tube mounts (article code STOTTPRID002).
Complete bike weight (size S, without pedals):
• SRAM RED XPLR – DT Swiss GRC1400: 8,45 kg
• SRAM Force XPLR – Forza Skiron RS: 8,8 kg
We have three reasons for selecting BB86 as our standard BB shell on carbon fiber frames.
