About Yungstr
The YUNGSTR is the first fully fledged road, gravel, and cyclocross bike developed specifically for young riders aged 8 to 12. With an ultralight carbon frame, hydraulic disc brakes, and kid-specific geometry, this is not a toy but a true race machine. Thanks to generous tyre clearance, young cyclists can easily switch between road, cross, and gravel tyres — one frame, three disciplines.
High tire clearance
Thanks to the wide tire clearance (42 mm on 650B, 32 mm on 700C), kids can effortlessly switch between fast road tires, cyclocross treads, or wider gravel setups. This way, the YUNGSTR becomes not just their first bike, but their first race machine. With one bike they can explore all disciplines and build the broadest possible foundation for the future.
Lifetime warranty
We offer a lifetime warranty on the YUNGSTR. Uniquely, that warranty transfers when the bike is resold. This helps the bike retain its value and gives every young rider the assurance of top quality — even when the first owner outgrows it.
Ultralight carbon frame
The YUNGSTR is built with an ultralight carbon frame that’s race-ready from the start. This bike is designed to give young riders the same advantages pros demand: low weight, stiffness, reliability, and versatility.
Uncompromising all-road geometry
The YUNGSTR’s geometry is unique and uncompromising: reactive and playful like a pure road bike, yet with the stability needed on gravel sections or technical cyclocross courses. This is not an adult geometry scaled down, but a ground-up design optimized for children. In addition, the YUNGSTR’s stem is easy to swap, so the bike can grow with the rider.
Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH)
The universal derailleur hanger (UDH) is the new standard in the cycling world. Not only is this derailleur hanger compatible with all modern shifting groups, it also protects against derailleur breakage and chain drops. In mountain biking, UDH has long been very common, and Ridley is bringing the technology to other segments as well.
